A specialist in drainage design and storm water management, Bob has been building his expertise since 1984, when he joined Stantec as a young transportation engineer on roadway reconstruction design projects. He now serves as project manager on complex transportation projects, in addition to specializing in storm water management.
Bob’s most satisfying projects involve the integration of storm water management practices and drainage designs into complex transportation projects. Among his many successes was the reconstruction of US Rt 15 at the NY/PA state line. With the construction of a new 5-mile long expressway along challenging hillside terrain, Bob developed a complex storm water management plan and drainage design, in addition to overseeing the restoration design of an impaired creek using Rosgen-based design principles. He has managed or overseen the development of over 75 Storm Water Management Plans, one of which was for a significant electric substation for NYPA and NYSEG.
