Alessandro has built solid engineering expertise in structures and civil engineering structures, particularly within the industrial, institutional, commercial, and municipal sectors, for more than 25 years.
Prior to directing engineering teams, Alessandro first took an active part in carrying out feasibility and pre-project studies, designing plans and specifications, and supervising works. In particular, he has worked with the Quebec Ministry of Transportation (MTQ), Quebec's public infrastructure project management department (SQI), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), and many local corporate partners and regional municipalities.
Alessandro has been able to develop and maintain strong relationships based on trust with the nine James Bay communities of the Cree First Nations, the Grand Council of the Cree Nation, and the Algonquin Anishinabeg Nation Tribal Councils of the region.
Alessandro participated in the design project for the 160-metre-long Mistissini wooden bridge, which won a grand prize in the 2015 Quebec Consulting Engineering Awards sponsored by the Quebec Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (AFG) and the Quebec Transportation Association (AQTr).
