One of our subject matter experts in paediatrics, mental (behavioral) health, and elder care, Deanna has played an integral role on a range of health and wellness projects across rehabilitation, palliative, senior’s living, complex continuing, ambulatory, and acute care settings. She’s also been a key contributor to multiple planning design and compliance (PDC) and proponent teams for alternative finance and procurement (AFP) projects.
Deanna has been uniquely privileged to learn from stakeholders, clients, programmers, and health organizations across Canada, the US, UK, and Australia about best practice and inventive design solutions for increasingly complex health projects. She’s a firm believer in developing holistic and engaging design from project initiation to completion. She’s also been an active participant in the art selection for several of her healthcare projects including an ongoing volunteer role with the Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre Art Advisory Committee.
Deanna sponsors the Greater Toronto Area Women@Stantec employee resource group and manages an Intern Architects Support committee. In 2018, Deanna spent three months living abroad, mentoring young graduate architects in Rwanda, delivering projects for education and health services to support East African society.
