The New England region, where Gina is a principal and professional engineer, is renowned for its Atlantic coastline. However, her professional interest in water is of the drinking variety and the pipelines that carry it. Focused on the design and construction of drinking water distribution, she has 25 years of experience.
Her experience includes design and construction services for the installation of over 100 miles of water mains for municipalities around New England. She has also applied her expertise on complex rehabilitation and replacement projects for dozens of water storage facilities and large transmission pipelines. She is especially proud of her work with the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority (MWRA) on their transmission main redundancy programs, replacing 15 miles of 36 and 48-inch pipe serving the Greater Boston area.
Gina enjoys her leadership and project management role, providing keen insights that keep projects on schedule, while delivering high-quality. Safety is paramount to her. She is familiar with the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule and has been assisting Fall River MA with their Lead Service Replacement Program since 2005 to reduce the amount of lead in their system. Away from work, she is a die-hard New England Patriots football fan, and looks forward to watching and attending the games every fall.
