Justin has built his career on the study of water. He is an expert in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling, applied GIS and CFD-based numerical modeling, and hydraulic transient systems analysis. He is a certified floodplain manager and has led numerous hydraulic analyses for water, wastewater, and hydroelectric projects. Wherever water needs to be stored, conveyed, used, or treated—Justin provides extensive knowledge in the planning and design of structures, spillways, pumping stations, conveyance and storage tunnels, lake and river intakes, potable water and wastewater treatment plants, transmission pipelines, stormwater management facilities, and urban drainage systems.
He is a walking global CFD resource and leads our Chicago office's advanced hydraulic modeling services. Also generous with his knowledge, he enjoys collaboration and supports interdisciplinary planning and design for his projects. Justin's technical knowledge of hydraulic modeling and design, combined with his industry experience, allows him to provide performance-based solutions to meet client needs.
When not at work, Justin enjoys traveling, fishing, hiking, wood carving, movies, and spending time with his family.
