Ian is a project director in the geotechnical and geo-environmental team in northern New South Wales. He has a strong track record of successfully facilitating the delivery of geotechnical and contaminated land projects on complex and heavily constrained sites throughout the region. His work includes investigations and advisory and construction phase support across a wide variety of private and public sector infrastructure projects.
Notable among them was the Catherine Hill Bay residential subdivision where this heavily constrained site required detailed environmental and geotechnical investigations, mine subsidence review, acid sulfate management, remediation, and site validation. Other complex sites included Westrac’s (Caterpillar) southern hemisphere head office at Tomago, NSW, and the Huntlee Development North Rothbury, NSW.
Despite approaching the end of his sporting life, Ian still has a passion for playing football—the round ball kind!
