Rodrigo excels at identifying and managing risks and capitalising on opportunities to identify cost and program savings on major infrastructure projects. He brings over 25 years’ experience in project, design, and quality management as well as project controls, construction supervision, and structural and road designs. He also has experience in strategising and conducting public utility impact assessments, relocations, and design coordination applicable to road infrastructure projects.
Rodrigo found himself drawn to engineering because he loves to see concepts and ideas get translated into real life solutions. He is passionate about complex multidisciplinary projects that serve the community. Once such example is the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade of the Pacific Highway, where his team had to balance the need for safety with minimising the impact on adjoining environmentally sensitive areas.
When he’s not delivering major infrastructure projects, you’ll find Rodrigo playing with his two young children and listening to heavy metal music, reminiscing about his days playing in a band!
