As the technical director of our Civil Transport team in Australia, Faraz is passionate about creating sustainable and safe transport infrastructure for the country. He develops and implements quality assurance processes, provides technical risk and governance for proposals and projects, encourages technical excellence, mentors staff, and provides overall technical leadership. He is best known for road geometric design and standards compliance.
Faraz believes his work is very important for clients and end users because his technical solutions focus on safety, sustainability, quality, cost effectiveness, constructability, and effective operation and maintenance. He gets a real kick out of realigning roads to reduce congestion and improve safety, travel times, and liveability.
When he isn’t designing physical infrastructure, Faraz supports the moral and spiritual infrastructure of the culturally and linguistically diverse youth in his neighbourhood.
