Steve is a civil engineer with ten years of experience developing solutions for various water clients across the UK. He uses sustainable urban drainage (SuDS), also known as green stormwater infrastructure (GSI), to manage stormwater in a way that enhances the urban environment and brings the widest range of benefits to the community.
Addressing the long-term challenges that face London’s drainage and wastewater system, Steve has been working with Thames Water and London stakeholders to develop the London 2100 master plan. Reviewing components including increasing population, climate change effects on stormwater, and limited land space, London 2100 will consider potential strategies ranging from property-level greywater recycling to intelligent sewer networks.
Besides delivering large urban drainage projects, Steve has a passion for reading and helping with activities at his local church. He also enjoys taking road trips around Europe and the US. Lately though, new parenthood has put those plans on hold.
