Stuart is a chartered town planner with 20 years of experience in both the public and private sector. He provides advice across the Yorkshire region, leading our Leeds planning team and providing immediate planning advice to achieve short-term solutions for our clients while also looking at long-term strategies for large strategic sites across the region.
Stuart has successfully promoted several sites for landowners, housebuilders, and developers through local plan examinations, securing significant housing and employment allocations across the north of England such as the new Maltkiln settlement in Harrogate. He has also worked on a number of significant regeneration projects across the region including the redevelopment of the former Tetley Brewery site in Leeds, redevelopment of the former Gascoigne Wood colliery in Selby, and expansion of Harrogate Spring Water.
Outside of work, Stuart enjoys travelling, watching and playing sport, and walking around the North Yorkshire countryside.
