Following his studies in both civil and structural engineering, Lewis developed a keen interest in how to reduce embodied carbon and achieve material efficiency in structural design. This drives him to improve the sustainability credentials of the widely applicable structural forms of reinforced concrete and steel framed structures.
Splitting his time between our Southampton and London offices, Lewis is an experienced internal project co-ordinator and discipline lead with notable experience in the education, residential, commercial, and leisure sectors. Using a proactive and highly organised approach, he co-ordinates large multidisciplinary teams and provides a single point of contact for his clients. He has extensive client-side experience on a range of projects across the UK including leading design for the mixed-use Llys Cadwyn development in Pontypridd with associated cable stayed footbridge.
When he isn’t designing more sustainable structures, Lewis is either enjoying raising his three kids or any number of outdoor pursuits.
