Having grown up on a farm next to a river, Andrew spent much of his childhood both enjoying waterways and admiring them. Today, as an engineer, he’s proud to do work that enhances the resilience of the water sector.
Andrew has seven years of experience within the infrastructure sector and has worked primarily on clean water supply and distribution and wastewater networks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. He uses data analysis to inform decisions in relation to wastewater strategy and water supply and resilience and, recently, has been focused on the Belfast and North Foreshore wastewater treatment works upgrades. Andrew also has lectured at Queen’s University in Belfast and enjoys supporting colleagues while trying to advance his own knowledge through learning from his peers.
Away from the world of water, Andrew enjoys various sports, including snooker, cycling, and running.
