It’s true that most things we make, or use, end up as some form of waste. However, with the realization that resources are finite, new strategies to handle waste are being adopted, even legislated. As a Chartered Waste Manager, Chris is applying his more than 18 years of experience in the waste industry to sustainable solutions for the future.
Having worked in Local Authorities, for contractors, and as a consultant, he has end-to-end knowledge of the complexities of developing waste strategies, procuring contracts, and delivering waste management infrastructure. Chris’ clients appreciate his holistic view of their industry—and issues—and his ability to bring a range of options to the planning and execution of projects. For Chris, waste management is about balancing the equation to achieve a sustainable environment for everyone. As a project manager he is proud to provide leadership to our technical advisory team supporting the Tees Valley Authorities in their procurement of fund support for carbon capture utilisation and storage.
When not at work, Chris is a keen mountain biker, white water kayaker and paddle boarder, and can be found messing about with bikes, boats and boards in the Shropshire countryside.
