Specialising in freight and logistics, Tim is an associate with over 17 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Over the course of his career, he’s acquired an in-depth knowledge of supply chain logistics, construction logistics and sustainable distribution—urban road freight (including last mile logistics and consolidation) in particular.
Tim started his career in Bristol and established the successful Bristol Freight Consolidation Centre while working for the City Council. He then moved into consultancy and has advised a range of clients on the potential for urban freight consolidation, including Transport for London. Tim has also advised on freight and logistics policy and strategy development, urban freight routes, industrial land supply to inform the new London Plan, retiming deliveries, and most recently, kerbside management solutions. He fundamentally believes in the importance of the movement of goods and services as it underpins everything we do and enjoys the challenge of helping to make it happen in an efficient and sustainable way.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys travelling the world—the more random the better. The pandemic has not helped this!
