A chartered engineer with over a decade of experience both in consultancy and working for specialist sub-contractors in bid management, Mark joined Stantec to lead our facade consultancy team in the UK. His expertise is focused on high-rise and complex buildings. In particular, he has specialist knowledge of curtain walling and how the system can be utilised across several project types.
Mark’s key expertise lies within the specification of the facade systems, collaborating with other disciplines to deliver sustainable, visually appealing façades built within project constraints. He has extensive knowledge of the tendering process, and he’s conducted many successful pre-construction services agreements (PCSA).
Throughout his career, Mark has contributed to prominent projects such as Soho Place, Royal Atlantis in Dubai, and MP3 H5, part of an 800-home development in Elephant Park, London.
When he isn’t creating functionally compliant, financially viable, and sustainable building envelopes around the world, you’ll probably find Mark spending time with family, running to child-friendly weekend activities and celebrating events.
