For over 40 years, Joe’s been engaged with urban projects across North America. He’s passionate about the intersection of urban design, planning, and landscape architecture, as well as the continued exploration of the design of the public realm.
Joe has honed his public engagement skills and uses them to lead public meetings, workshops, and charrettes—focusing on the strategic aspects of planning, permitting, and the entitlement processes for many complex projects. His role as one of our global integration leaders has taken him to Australia and the United Kingdom where he’s assisted five firms integrate into the Stantec culture and systems. Joe loves connecting the dots for people all over the globe to work together and experience all that our Company has to offer.
Although he’s living in London, UK at the moment, Joe still calls Boston home. He continues to participate in his community there as a member of the advisory committee at Northeastern University’s School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs and is a trustee of the Brookline, Land Trust.
Many mornings before work, you can find Joe running and taking in the fresh air along the Grand Union Canal or in Hyde Park.
