As a regional discipline lead for process engineering, Neil manages, develops, and supports a sustainability team of 15 process engineers with a focus on sustainable wastewater treatment. He works on strategic potable reuse projects across the south of England, creating resilient solutions that protect human health and the environment.
Since joining us as an environmental engineer over a decade ago, Neil’s engaged with projects around the world—from the hydraulic design of stormwater pumping stations in Kuwait, to water reuse strategies for the Seychelles, to the detailed process design of wastewater treatment works in England. He’s seen many interlinking challenges facing the water industry—and is learning the importance of seeing the bigger picture to protect our environment and safeguard water resources for future generations.
When Neil’s not at work, he may be mastering his bouldering technique, or adventuring with his wife across Europe, the Middle East, and South America. But mostly, he supports the Manchester City Football club—watching and boring anyone who’ll listen with stories about “when we were rubbish—the good old days.”
