Malcolm is a director of civil and river engineering, a chartered engineer, and a fellow of the institution of civil engineers. With over 30 years of experience in all aspects of infrastructure design, utilities, and river engineering, he is an experienced project manager committed to meeting client aspirations and finding solutions that deliver safe and sustainable schemes.
At the project implementation stage, Malcolm is well-versed in the production of specifications, tenders and contract documents, budgetary and cost analysis information for multidisciplinary complex projects. His consultancy experience includes work on major infrastructure projects, including the Paradise Development in Birmingham, Battersea Power Station, and the Thames Tideway Tunnel. Malcolm also acts in the capacity of ICE Supervising Civil Engineer, providing direct and personal support to graduate and apprentice engineers.
Outside of work, Malcolm is an Explorer Scout Leader, organising various camps and expeditions and teaching skills for life to the next generation. To keep fit, he competes in long distance kayak races, racing distances of 4 to 125 miles.
