Growing up around his father’s fire station, Arturo was inspired to pursue a career in fire and structural engineering—his father was a chartered civil and fire engineer and a general in the Italian Fire Brigade. Today, Arturo has extensive international experience that spans more than 30 years in fire and structural engineering. He specialises in fire risk appraisals of the external walls (facades) of high-rise buildings.
Arturo’s philosophy—and motivation in his work—revolves around his belief that a duty of care is paramount. Committed to protecting lives and property through diligent, articulate, and thorough risk evaluations, he strives to deliver the best possible advice to clients, enabling public safety and maintaining structural integrity. Notable projects for him include assessing the fire risks of landmark high-rises in London (UK), enhancing fire safety engineering, and contributing to innovative facade designs.
Away from his fire safety engineering work, Arturo enjoys crafting intricate geometric models that blend art and engineering, reflecting his passion for merging spiritual creativity with technical expertise. He also loves gazing at the stars and exploring the mysteries of the universe through astronomy.
