As both a chartered engineer and a chartered environmentalist with international experience, Simon brings a unique perspective to projects. With a focus on strategic and environmentally-sustainable solutions, he provides engineering support to a number of internal drainage boards, local authorities, and retained private clients. He believes that we need an integrated approach to infrastructure delivery and water level management that embraces environmental, economic, and social outcomes.
Simon’s project contributions include directing all phases of the site infrastructure at Center Parcs Longford Village in the Republic of Ireland—from concept through to commissioning. He’s overseen and innovated on the delivery of numerous capital works flood management projects, project appraisals, and catchment-based studies for drainage authority clients.
Simon provides charitable governance to the corporate and social responsibilities team, and he’s also active in his village community. Outside of work you’ll probably find him at a live sporting event or sampling one of England’s finest small batch gins. He is a passionate AFC Bournemouth season ticket holder and enjoys golf and the adventures of open water swimming.
