Alastair has over 35 years of experience in the design and supervision of a wide range of schemes, from conception to completion, in both the public and private sector. This has included feasibility studies and detailed design of highway schemes including associated footway and drainage requirements, highway negotiations for Section 278 and Section 38 proposals, site supervision, and contract preparation and management.
Based in Manchester, Alastair leads a national team that delivers highway infrastructure projects across the UK. He’s highly proficient in the detailed design of highway proposals and has a strong track record negotiating with National Highways, county councils, and local highway authorities to secure permissions Additionally, he specialises in the subsequent contract and project management of schemes on site to support the delivery of projects in line with our clients’ requirements and expectations.
When he isn’t busy managing highway infrastructure projects, Alastair enjoys cycling, camping, and playing pool.
