Stuart has more than 20 years of experience as a project and contracts manager in the field of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering. He specialises in contaminated land investigation and remediation, as well as geohazard assessment and stabilisation design.
Having gained experience working in numerous locations around mainland UK and in southeast Asia, recent projects of Stuart’s include the investigation and stabilisation of abandoned historical chalk mine workings below a new housing development in Plumstead, South East London. At a primary school in Pinner, extensive desk studies and ground investigations identified numerous abandoned historical chalk mine workings below playing fields and school buildings. Stuart enjoys solving complex ground stability issues and finding practical solutions.
Outside of work, you are likely to find Stuart walking and training his dog—a cockapoo named Huxley.
