For the past decade, Chris has specialized in noise and acoustic monitoring. He’s led the design and creation of noise exposure monitoring systems—like acoustic data assimilation (ADA) acoustic modeling and real-time reporting—and managed sound exposure and noise pollution at outdoor events. These events include UK and international motorsport projects for which he’s provided environmental design and noise consultancy. He also works with clients across the construction industry to monitor environmental noise, dust, and vibration at many active construction sites.
Prior to moving into consultancy, Chris worked in the live music industry and provided sound engineering and design for multiple bands across his career such as TalkTalk, Elvis Costello, AC/DC, and Metallica. He was also responsible for the delivery of audio systems to many significant UK festivals including Glastonbury, Reading, and Leeds.
