An urban designer and masterplanner with over 16 years of experience, Mirella has worked on several mixed-use projects, from the production of large-scale masterplans to detailed site layouts.
One of Mirella’s notable projects involved working on the design code and layout of the former Ironbridge Power Station site. This exciting scheme with historical roots and within proximity to Ironbridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will provide nearly 1,000 new homes, a series of new parks and spaces, a local centre, school, employment, and leisure uses, all set within an outstanding landscape structure. Mirella has also championed the Designing Safer Places for Women and Girls initiative, sparking thought-provoking discussions on how we can design public spaces to improve safety and inclusivity for women and girls.
When she isn’t designing and planning mixed-use projects, Mirella enjoys playing tennis, travelling, and spending time at her allotment with her children and pet dog, Mavis.
