In March 2023, scientists from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) delivered a final warning on the climate crisis, claiming that if the world does not act now, then it will be too late. The Synthesis Report was the sixth assessment report by the IPCC, an organisation which was set up more than 30 years ago to investigate the climate crisis.
Responding to the report’s findings, Stantec’s UK Climate Solutions Leader, Lucy Wood, spoke with Infrastructure Intelligence, outlining her priorities for the entire built environment sector over the next period.
