Cedric joined our team after moving to New Zealand in 2007—today, he’s a senior water network engineer, focusing particularly on the long-term planning of water infrastructure. He likes nothing better than articulating ideas, explaining the present, and proposing a vision for the future. Cedric endeavors to try new things on every project, keep the ones that work, and then pass them on to the team.
Cedric appreciates how diverse the water industry is—you learn something new every day. He finds that, because of its complexity, it makes for a great team environment because there’s a place for all personalities and skillsets to develop and thrive. This is something that came in handy in Cedric’s work with the Wellington Region Water Supply Network, as his team explored ways to respond in the event of a large earthquake. Together, they were able to find several solutions and paths forward to make Wellington more resilient.
Outside of work, Cedric likes to spend time with his children, walk in the forest, and attempt to play music.
