Paula is a ‘big picture’ kind of person, which comes in handy for her role as the technical lead or reviewer for our more complex or high profile planning and consenting projects.
Often, Paula works as part of a multi-disciplinary team and she enjoys collaborating with a wide range of professionals across all sorts of projects. Her typical week could involve a business case for a transport project, a wastewater consenting project and planning a new growth area.
We're proud of her role on the Independent Hearings Panel for the Auckland Unitary Plan: the biggest planning exercise carried out in New Zealand and the blueprint for shaping the city’s future. The Plan is now seen as easier to use and more enabling, no mean feat considering the Panel received over 13,000 submissions.
Paula leads many of our successful major infrastructure consenting projects including an award-winning one that secured a 35-year water take for Hamilton City Council's water supply.
