Nathan enjoys helping clients across New Zealand and abroad with their dam safety issues, providing services such as improvements to dam management, prioritisations of studies, meeting guidelines and regulations, and future resilience. Drawing upon his experience in dam safety engineering, he works on safety studies, monitoring analyses, flood capacity studies, risk and dam breach assessments, potential impact classifications, and upgrade projects.
Two projects he continues to be involved with are the Clyde and Roxburgh Dam safety services for Contact Energy and dam safety management for the Dunedin City Council. He provides detailed inspections, analyzes surveillance data, and undertakes reporting aspects across dam safety management activities to help these clients operate safe infrastructure.
After work, Nathan likes to spend time with family and friends, watch sports, or tackle various home landscaping projects.
