Mark’s focuses are developing our Dams teams in Australia and New Zealand and building our client base in pumped hydro energy storage. With over 30 years’ global experience Mark is dedicated to dams and hydropower planning, design and construction and he uses that knowledge to solve problems and find better ways to deliver outcomes for our clients and internal teams.
Mark gets satisfaction at work by making sure our solutions are not only technically sound and cost effective but also ‘best for project’ and fully realise the client’s objectives, aiming to ensure the original intent doesn’t move out of focus.
Following his secondment to Snowy Hydro as Study Director for the Snowy 2.0 Feasibility Study, Mark continues to assist clients to evaluate opportunities in pumped hydro energy storage projects. This has included redevelopment and use of open cast mine pits as the lower storage reservoir for pumped storage.
Having hung up his playing boots some years ago, outside of work Mark re-lives his soccer days through his sons from the touchline.
