Preparing for the development of offshore wind farms
East Anglia ONE is an offshore wind farm and is part of the East Anglia Array—a proposed series of offshore wind farms to be located 30 miles off the east coast of East Anglia, in the North Sea.
Our team was commissioned to undertake the preparation of the baseline economic impact assessment of the East Anglia ONE project, alongside the area known as Zone 5, under the Offshore Round 3 Wind Licensing agreements. The assessment includes the economic impacts of both the offshore and onshore elements of the overall zone development as input to a series of documents including the Preliminary Environmental Information (PEI) alongside the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Environmental Service (ES) for each sub-project, and the ZAP Report for the Zone.
The wind farm has been fully operational since July 2020 and is producing clean, renewable energy for 630,000 British homes.
