Shaping a popular destination through quality planning and design services

A resort is typically enjoyed for holidays or recreation, but it can be a great place to live too. A luxury resort near Queenstown, the Millbrook Resort Development began with a nine-hole golf course and housing development that extends the lifestyle living options of Arrowtown.

While planning encompassed a development of potentially 300 house sites and a nine-hole golf course in a park environment, around half of the house sites along with the golf course was designed and constructed over the first decade. The project included major earthworks, approximately five kilometres of new road, together with water, wastewater and stormwater reticulated services, water booster pump station, and wastewater pump stations. The success of the development followed with an extension of an additional 55 house sites and another nine golf holes on adjoining land.

For over 15 years we were responsible for all engineering planning and design work. We provided technical support during the construction phases and collaborated closely with project managers, landscape and golf-course designers, planners, and utilities providers to develop the design. The result? A five-star lifestyle resort offering luxurious accommodation and two 18-hole championship golf courses.
