We provided environmental, health, and safety services to support our client’s work resumption
When our client needed to meet governmental requirements on COVID-19 control and work resumption, coupled with achieving internal risk control, we were there to help. There were a number of tasks which included the preparation of emergency response plans (Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, and Xi’an) and work-resume application documents according to local government authorities’ requirements. These included company commitment and support of local teams to get work-resume approval. Collection of local resumption policies for construction projects and local return policies from the high-risk areas, including isolation and nucleic acid test (NAT) testing, requirements were completed.
We also helped our client establish numerous procedures or guidelines to have quick responses for internal COVID-19 prevention and control. These included guidelines for Home Quarantine, Office and Public Services Disinfection, Lab Disinfection, Employee Hygiene, Abnormal Case Handling, Office HVAC System Operation, and Dining.
Finally, our team helped establish guidelines for policies and control of field service vendor/business or visitors/construction service vendors. This work involved approval process documents (such as personnel registration form, company commitment), vendor’s training of onsite hygiene requirements, daily disinfection record, daily epidemic prevention and control report, and a weekly inspection checklist for construction service vendors. With these environment, health, and safety services in place, our client was better prepared to support their staff during work resumption.
