Serving more than 300,000 customers, Hydro Ottawa is the third-largest municipality-owned electrical utility in Ontario. Like many utilities in Ontario, Hydro Ottawa developed a substation refurbishment program to assist with upgrading their aging infrastructure’s reliability.
As part of a Master Services Agreement (MSA), Hydro Ottawa has continuously-trusted our team to provide professional engineering services for their projects. These include green field developments and major substation upgrades such as transformer replacements, breaker replacements, station service upgrades, protection upgrades, power studies, and factory acceptance tests.
Hydro Ottawa has confidence in us, developed over more than 10 years of working together. So, we consistently ensure that the power services we provide are technically-sound and consistent with Hydro Ottawa’s standards and practices.
As Ottawa continues to grow, so too will the demand for this work. This MSA has led and contributed to the delivery of over 20 projects and helped Hydro Ottawa meet their customer needs. We were a natural partner due to our equal commitment to safety, quality, and service delivery.
