Supporting Kosovo’s compliance to EU environmental sustainability directives by facilitating energy efficiency and development
Developed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, our Kosovo Sustainable Energy Projects (KoSEP) support energy efficiency investments and renewable energy development in the residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors by providing tailor-made loan products, free of charge technical assistance, and investment grants.
Our goal for this energy efficiency project is to assist in the preparation, successful implementation, and verification of KoSEP through a series of consultancy services. As conduits to ensure the success of KoSEP, we provide myriad specialized services such as assisting prospective sub-borrowers in their applications and establishing an efficient tracking, monitoring, and reporting system to ensure accurate data and standard forms are utilized. We also provide training using materials we designed and facilitate the transfer of skills workshops to banks, local engineers, and companies.
Due to the significant environmental opportunities it offers, KoSEP will contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gases in a transition country where the bank has established specific credit lines to support the local energy efficiency and renewable energy business sector.
