Growing up in major cities in three different countries, Aline combines her multicultural background and creative mindset to create innovative solutions. As our Central Texas higher education market leader, Aline brings over 20 years of experience in higher education, K-12, and with civic clients. She’s a registered architect, registered interior designer, LEED accredited professional, and evidence-based design EDAC certified professional. Her goal? To bring a holistic approach to her designs considering all aspects of the built environment—from building massing to furniture fabric selection.
Aline has worked on projects of diverse sizes and scopes including over 90 projects for UTSA and the Alamo Colleges at their San Antonio College, Palo Alto College, and St. Philip’s College campuses. Notable projects include St. Philip’s College’s Combined Allied Health Professions/Learning Resource/Welcome Center and their Cybersecurity Innovation Center.
As a volunteer, Aline is a passionate advocate of women and emerging architects. She has served as The American Institute of Architects (AIA) president in San Antonio, founder and chair of Women in Architecture, and board director for the Texas Society of Architects. In her spare time, Aline enjoys traveling, visiting museums and spending time with her husband and two young boys.
