A highly skilled structural engineer and project manager, Alper has nearly 20 years of experience in the design, renovation, and inspection of various structures. He’s been involved in numerous infrastructure projects, ranging from transportation structures to building systems utilizing steel, concrete, timber, and masonry framing systems. He has particular expertise in the evaluation and rehabilitation of existing structures.
Alper is passionate about the challenges of working on existing structures, especially in New York City with one of the oldest and largest transportation networks. Dedicated to mentoring young engineers, he loves sharing his knowledge of structural design, renovation, and project management. It also helps him stay up to date on the latest industry trends and innovations.
When he isn’t working on structural projects, Alper enjoys spending quality time with his two young daughters, Argentine tango, and attending Broadway shows with his wife.
