As a Tucson native and contractor’s son, Jim grew up around and developed a love for construction after taking his first summer job as a carpenter. Many years later, the prospect of a new engineering project or challenge excites him just as much as that first construction job.
Jim has provided engineering services across the Southwest and California on a dynamic portfolio of transportation projects—from high intensity activated cross walks (HAWKs) that enhance pedestrian safety in Tucson communities, to improved-access roadway projects at the Tucson International Airport, to construction administration for the San Ysidro Land Port of Entry. His broad expertise includes roadway, site civil, utility, and drainage design, as well as experience with intersection improvements, striping, and construction administration and inspection.
At the end of the day, having spent nearly his entire life in Southern Arizona, Jim takes pride in being able to stay connected and committed to his local community.
