Jacob has experience in civil engineering design and project management for both public and private clients throughout the central region of the United States. He’s worked on large-scale, multi-discipline projects that involve environmental design for brownfield redevelopment, traffic analysis, landscape architecture, civil design and engineering, roadway design, public and private utilities, and stormwater/drainage facilities. These projects require coordination with municipal staff and preparing out parcels for future use—something that Jacob has become skilled at.
Recently, Jacob has been focused on designs for complex mixed-use development, ballparks and stadiums, and waterfront development projects like the River Point Development, Bell Works Chicagoland, Field of Dreams, and the Green Bay Shipyard. He works to understand clients' needs and is committed to developing creative solutions to address their unique engineering challenges. He’s involved in the Iowa Commercial Real Estate Association (ICREA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
In his spare time, Jacob enjoys biking around the nature trails in Central Iowa.
