With his 25 years of experience, Roger has focused on environmental assessment and ecological restoration. During his youth, he spent a great deal of time enjoying the many lakes, streams, and forested areas of Minnesota, which led to his interest in aquatic ecology.
Roger’s career began in northern Minnesota where he conducted water quality assessments in the Upper Mississippi watershed. Roger has been dedicated to the Chesapeake Bay restoration for more than 20 years, concentrating on watershed studies, aquatic assessments, and stream restoration. In addition to his technical work associated with the Bay restoration, Roger is part of our nationwide ecological restoration practice, assisting with the overall program implementation as well as marketing and business development.
Away from work, Roger spends time with his wife and three children enjoying the outdoors and the children’s many activities. Roger’s hobbies include fishing, maintaining his reef aquarium, and running.
