An award-winning urban designer and city-building strategist, Roger is committed to redefining how people experience urban environments. From creatively building urban design practices to reviving cities and suburbs, he’s helped tackle some of the world’s most significant urban development challenges.
In his position, Roger leads strategic growth for our Urban Planning and Smart Cities practice. He combines his empowering leadership style and knack for unlocking hidden potential, to create thriving places rooted in inclusivity and resilience. Bringing a global perspective, Rogers’s work spans over 50 cities and 56 continents, including the comprehensive plans for Asheville, Kansas City, and Maryland’s first “smart city”. He also developed a 100-year vision plan for a large portion Washington, DC’s federal core, and planned four international capital cities.
When Roger is not busy helping shape urban development, you can find him exploring communities of all sizes. He enjoys watching minor league sports games and even manages one of the teams!
