Chris has provided mechanical engineering services for a variety of water and wastewater projects in remote communities throughout Manitoba. He’s frequently served as the resident or on-site contract administrator and mechanical engineer coordinating with contractors, client, and our team.
Having been involved with projects in Indigenous and remote communities, Chris often works directly with community members. He enjoys getting to see firsthand how functioning water and wastewater systems can drastically improve a community’s quality of life.
One of his most memorable projects was the Keewatinohk Converter Station north of Gillam, Manitoba, where he served as the construction inspector. The station was part of the Manitoba Hydro Bipole III project, which was one of the largest major capital projects in North America at the time. It was his first project after finishing university and was truly a once in a lifetime experience.
When he isn’t busy with water and wastewater projects, Chris likes to stay active by playing soccer, hockey, golf, and softball. He also enjoys strength training and bodybuilding as well as spending time outdoors cycling and hiking.
