Sara has spent over a decade consulting on a range of threatened and endangered species investigations and biological surveys across the United States and British Columbia. As a wildlife biologist, she manages complex data, prepares reports that meet regulatory guidelines and client needs, and mentors and coordinates staff.
Focusing on projects in the power transmission and renewable energy industries, Sara is passionate about herpetology and wildlife biology. She’s assisted with amphibian salvage in British Columbia, relocating amphibians out of construction areas in California, and conducting call surveys for rare frogs in Illinois. In addition to being our US terrestrial wildlife technical lead, Sara is also a subject matter expert in amphibians and reptiles and a Certified Wildlife Biologist with The Wildlife Society.
When she’s not working to protect wildlife, Sara enjoys volunteering to protect local herpetofauna, hiking, herping (looking for amphibians and reptiles), and working on her native plant garden.
