Over the past two decades, Jared has gained the respect of his clients for his work on document preparation, permitting support, and projects related to the California Environmental Quality Act and NEPA analysis, habitat and creek restoration, and biological resources investigations.
Jared is an established thought leader in the fields of stream and wetland ecosystem restoration, fish migration, rare plants, and endangered species. He’s earned a reputation for his scientific expertise and experience to overcome complex environmental challenges, develop creative mitigation strategies, and quantify impacts. Operating at the cutting edge of environmental technologies, Jared and his team recently partnered with The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit from the Netherlands, and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works to guide them through the permitting and approval process for the Ballona Creek Trash Interceptor Pilot Project. The project is designed to demonstrate a scalable solution to plastic pollution entering the ocean via inland waterways.
Jared’s passion for nature extends beyond his work. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
