In his over 10 years of experience, Simon has led and supported teams across a wide array of industry sectors—educational, commercial, recreation, transit, and industrial. He constantly looks to leverage his knowledge of BIM, proficiency in a variety of software, and artistic intelligence to craft spaces that enhance the user’s experience. His goal for every project? To challenge the status quo and find holistic solutions for every project’s unique and complex requirements.
Simon’s work is fueled by a passion for sustainable communities and the buildings and infrastructure that support them. Every design opportunity presents a welcome challenge for him to maximize sustainable design practice while supporting the critical needs of the space. Recently, he was a key team member and design lead for a 375 thousand square-foot student housing and academic building design for Douglas College in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia.
In his leisure time, Simon enjoys hiking up the infamous Grouse Grind and traveling to places with beautiful landscapes and interesting architecture. He loves to visit the Netherlands where he can see family and enjoy one of his favorite foods, bitterballen.
