Chris is the technical practice leader for our Heavy Industrial Processes team. With 20 years of experience, he focuses on providing technical insight and advice to various industries—from manufacturing, pulp and paper, food and mineral processing, to district energy, cogeneration and thermal generation, and energy efficiency projects.
Whether assessing a process heat load or running critical capital projects, Chris has a diverse background. Specializing in thermodynamic analysis and integrating carbon capture systems into existing energy cycles, he is at the forefront of helping industries to decarbonize. He was the thermodynamic lead on SaskPower’s Boundary Dam—the world’s first commercial scale carbon capture plant. His recent projects include leading a piping team in the completion of a tissue machine installation and he is the project director on a mineral processing cogeneration project installation.
When he’s not working with decarbonizing industrial processes, Chris enjoys spending his time with his family and coaching kids’ football teams.
