Right out of college, Kim knew she wanted to work with the water and wastewater group at Stantec, where she had interned. Today, she heads up the group as the Cleveland water lead and works on electrical power distribution projects at water and wastewater plants.
One of the things Kim likes best about her job is that every day and every project is different—there’s always a challenge that allows her to be creative with electrical designs at treatment plants. In her position, Kim wears many hats: she’s responsible for helping staff meet their career goals, helping project managers with their workload, and growing our business locally. She also ensures the right teams are assigned to projects, maintains staff workloads, and helps put together company-wide electrical design standards. In her work as an electrical engineer, Kim strives to help clients with energy savings and give them a cost-efficient design.
When she isn’t working, Kim loves photographing her travels with her family and coaching little league.
