Chris has always had a passion for conserving wild areas. Growing up in the Great Lakes region of Michigan, whether he was canoeing in the many lakes or just catching salamanders, being in nature brought him much joy. Later, he learned that technology offers possibilities to conserve and understand these wild areas better. Using satellites, drones, and advanced techniques, he discovered a world of insights that helped provide more effective management of these wild areas.
Bridging the gap between ecology and technology motivates Chris in his daily work. He strives to provide innovative solutions that help clients meet their regulatory requirements and address underlying ecological concerns—he’s committed to providing a personalized approach to their projects.
Not only does Chris enjoy working in wild places, but he loves pursuing his passion for rock climbing there too. For nearly 10 years now, he’s often found in the wilderness looking for new areas to climb and explore. He’s also an avid native orchid hunter.
