Working with our team in Washington, Nilufar is a project management professional. She has over 20 years of experience in managing international development projects in power, water management and economic development areas in U.S., Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Nilufar supports our International Development projects by providing project management support for multi-million-dollar projects from proposal stage to closeout. She got her start in project management as part of USAID’s Economic Growth team in her native Kyrgyz Republic, where she oversaw the implementation of energy programs in her country. Nilufar’s combined experience in implementing U.S. Government projects from contractor’s side and designing and procuring them from the funding agency’s side makes her a valuable part of Stantec’s project management team.
When not at work, Nilufar enjoys spending time with her family, working in her garden and exploring the DC area.
