Alex has a passion for creating responsive architecture. In constant search for inspiration, he’s explored other disciplines including music, dance, anthropology, and biology to inspire the architectural design process and to push the boundaries of what a space for wellbeing can really be.
A licensed architect, Alex champions experiential design through client charrettes. The goal? Establish the guiding vision and consistently ensure that it gets realized as the project comes to life. Some of his notable projects include the Almost Home Kids expansion to Peoria, Illinois, the Indiana University Health North Cancer Center, and the Nemours Children’s Hospital master plan.
Alex holds a masters of architecture from Arizona State University where he was awarded the AIA Henry Adams Certificate and the ASU Faculty Letter of Commendation. Outside of architecture, Alex loves to travel, whether that’s hiking to the top of Mount Sinai or wandering the streets of Kyoto. He’s also an accomplished pianist and plays percussion in an LGBTQ community band.
