Jason uses geographic information system (GIS) tools to analyze data and improve our understanding of complicated projects. With GIS database management, report figure production, and field data collection, Jason supports projects across the western United States. In his over 15 years of experience, he has worked on environmental services projects related to mining, oil and gas, renewable energy, long-haul fiber, transportation, and more.
Recently, Jason worked on a multimodal corridor analysis project for the Tahoe Transportation District. He helped analyze wireless cellular data and quantify the number of visitor trips by season to formulate recommendations on how to develop methods of mass transit that could accommodate heavy visitor use and reduce traffic within the Lake Tahoe Basin.
Jason has co-authored several government technical reports, including a study of fire behavior. However, when not at work, he spends his time outdoors hiking, fishing, gardening, doing photography, or traveling.
